I realize most of you reading this don't know Maine and New Hampshire have 2 different measurement requirements for delivered wood but they do. My loads are all bigger to fulfill the larger New Hampshire requirement.
Maine Bureau of Weights and Measures - Steve Giguere 207-287-3841
New Hampshire Bureau of Weights and Measures - Richard Cote - 603-271-3788
I am not trying to confuse anyone but I sell in each state and must conform to the requirements. Maine Certified Loads equal $175.00 per cord. I have all loads set up to meet the New Hampshire laws. A person with a high score with the BBB won't be telling you lies. I am getting *$195 per cord which is about 20 cubic feet more than Maine law requires and hits where New Hampshire needs a load to stack when dropped. *Sometimes we charge $10 extra in the outer delivery areas.
Currently we have seasoned wood available. Our wood is very clean. You will not be getting a lot of dirt and bark as most of our wood is loaded by hand onto a conveyor that has a chip seperator. We are getting *$240.00 for local deliveries. Our loads are all Maine State Certified and are bigger to fulfill the larger New Hampshire requirements.. *Some loads we add $10.00 to for extra distance.
Firewood Time sells about 800 cords of wood in a good year.
